Jeremy PRUVOST
The AlgOstep project is a project co-financed by ADEME and the FEDER and carried out by the company GLS.
This project aims to integrate microalgae production in urban or industrial wastewater plants, by developing an integrated vision with the objectives of biomass valorisation, intensive elimination of pollutants at regulatory levels and the achievement of an verall profitability of the system. The objective is to obtain a viable and validated technical and economic model, taking into account the respective constraints of algal crops, wastewater treatment plants and biomass recovery.
Contribution of AlgoSolis anf GEPEA :
- Development of the microalga culture process on wastewater
- Study of the valuation of the microalgal biomass produced by development of microalgae extraction and biorefining processes
- Validation of the process on real wastewater
Partners :
- GLS company
- Université de Nantes (GEPEA, AlgoSolis)
- Alganact company
