Industrial exploitation of microalgae involves integrating into a complete industry a set of technologies, from biomass production to the extraction of metabolites of interest. AlgoSolis R&D facility was designed in that purpose, offering various technologies for cultivation, harvesting and biorefining the microalgal biomass. The infrastructure has been designed to test and individually optimize each technological component of the overall process, or conversely, to work in an integrated manner to optimize the chaining of different units that will define the final industrial exploitation process.
