The diatom Haslea Ostrearia is a benthic microalgae used in aquaculture for the greening of oysters, an that synthetize an exocellular pigment, the marennine. The objective of this project is to define an optimized process for cultivating this fragile microalga while allowing the continuous recovery of the marennine, and to extrapolate this process for final validation on the AlgoSolis platform. This project is carried out within the framework of the regional program “Atlantique Microalgae ” (design of the exploitation process, Rémi Rémi NGHIEM XUAN’s thesis), and the European Ghana program (scaling-up and validation on AlgoSolis facility).
