SYMBIO2 project : Study and optimization of the solar culture of microalgae in building facades
The SymBio2 project, certified by Valorial and co-labeled by Advancity, is a hybrid and integrated microalgal production project. It applies the concept of symbiosis between buildings and controlled production of microalgae.
As part of this project, AlgoSolis hosts the pilot system, called Symbio2Box, that was developped to study and optimize the solar culture of microalgae in building façades, as well as thermal symbiosis with the building. The Symbio2Box was designed to simulate different configurations of buildings (factory, tertiary building…).
